What a wonderful TOF piece Eva and especially when it can be viewed with your explanatory comments which gives the viewer an insight into your perception of your father. You have created a very precious memory piece.
ReplyDeleteI had a chuckle when reading the bit about the plain rice as our son who was staying with us has Type 1 diabetes and has rice and pasta as a base for most meals but my husband Paul and I usually only eat them with curries or stirfries so we were most relieved when we could get back to our normal eating habits once our son and his family moved into their home. To each his own possibly and perhaps we are becoming set in our ways as we advance in age!!
