buttonholes abound

this week features buttonhole big time! marj and i are doing arlee's Frankenstitch course and exploring variations on buttonhole, while TAST has chosen it for this week's stitch

the contrast between the approaches is striking - here's what i've been up to with arlee:

now check out TAST week 2

and wait for marj to post .....?

incidentally i had a computer spasm in the middle of doing this post - i had to "switch it off and switch it on again" and now it's back to normal! the new cliche (oops no accent) works!

  1. The twisted buttonhole has worked really well with an earthy look about it reminding me of twisted tree roots and the patchwork piece is so different now with the added buttonhole cutting across it and the bugle beads. I like this piece a lot.
