Round Robin final round

At last I have finished my section from the image I chose over 6 months ago. The image was from the children's book "Where's Elmer" and all participants commented on how they enjoyed stitching their sections and that is obvious from the results as they all fit together so well. It was a good challenge having to respond to such diverse images with the simpler images tending to be more successful. We will have a break of a few months now and then start with another challenge later in the year.

  1. how lovely to see the finished piece - i particularly like the sections where stitchers have strayed from precise reproduction of the picture and given it their own interpretation - like the two far left sections

do i see some frankenstitch on the ?foliage above the ?beehive ?

  2. it does look like frankenstitch now you mention it but not mine.... i was tired of so much hand and machine embroidery on the other pieces i did that when it came to mine (top right hand corner)i wanted to get it finished as fast as i could so just appliqued fabric and felt and did just a small amount of hand stitching!!
