Collagraph Prints
I subscribe to Linda and Laura Kemshall's Design Matters TV where they load a new video of a technique each week. Last week Laura demonstrated how to make a Collagraph plate and this week showed how to print with it using a pasta making machine. Here are my first attempts printing on Kadi paper. The results are very similar to etchings and would certainly make great cards.

ReplyDeletei love the textures you have achieved here - your designs could also work well cut into pieces and rearranged or used as individual insets
have you tried printing on fabric yet, that be a good base for additional stitching?
i have been wanting to try this for ages, i've been keeping an eye open for a cheap pasta machine in charity shops - no luck yet, probably just as well as i ran out of staorage space ages ago and have a very long 'to do' list!
